The Jumpboost Racing League finished the final Round of 10 race at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. The drivers took to the 1.5 mile tri-oval to try and cement their way into the Round of 8 that starts next week at Talladega and boy were the tempers flaring.

The race started with Domenic Previte winning the pole with a qualifying time of 30.658 just inching out Garrett Hummel.

Previte and the #15 Toyota went on to lead the first 4 laps of the race and was passed by a hard charging Garrett Hummel heading to lap 5. Barletta would find himself chasing down the leader for most of the stage but managed to snatch the stage victory away from Hummel in the final 3 laps.

Domenic Previte would find himself back in the lead to start Stage 2 after a bold pit strategy put him and Garrett Hummel back on the front row.

Stage 2 would start with a bang as Garrett Hummel would try and throttle up quickly and spin himself in turn two collecting Joe Tardif who was running in fourth place. This would bring out our first caution of the race.

As we would go green, Josh Previte and Harley Barletta would charge past Domenic Previte to first and second. Josh Previte would go on to lead 11 of the final laps of the stage for the win. This stage win would put Josh Previte in a prime position to fight for the win going into the final Stage.

On Lap 41, Jay Monnin would make a move that set off a series of events that led to the disqualification of the driver from the race. While racing another playoff driver, Monnin made an intentional turn towards the infield into the door of another driver in an attempt to wreck and end their race. This would lead to a black flag pass through penalty as race control was reviewing the situation. While race control was reviewing the situation, Monnin refused to serve the black flag and brake checked another driver in turn 1 causing Monnin to hit the outside wall and cause a caution. At that point in time after reviewing the on-board camera race control determined the drivers intentions were to wreck both playoff drivers that were involved and was awarded last place for the race itself.

In a stunning pit strategy, Domenic Previte outran the leaders in fuel mileage as he did not need to pit during Stage 3. This win puts Domenic Previte who needed to win to advance into the Round of 8 after he could not advance strictly on points. This would be Previte’s first win of the season and i90 Racing’s fourth on the campaign.
