In first place heading into the round of four, we have Eric Wolfe in the #51 Toyota. Eric has 16 wins so far this season with two occurring in the first four races of the playoffs.

Wolfe had issues at Bristol with the number 15, Casey Freeman a few times during the race which only hurt stage points and not a final finish position. Freeman, filling in for the driver Josh Dise, has found himself in a very rough position with the Rowdy Energy driver going into the final two races.

After Bristol, Wolfe seemed to be more calm than he was on the track but still wasn’t happy with the driver filling in for his teammate. Do tempers flare at Iowa or do the temporary teammates find peace going into the end of the season.

Our second place driver, Patrick Ganczewski is currently 95 points behind Eric Wolfe with only two races left. Ganczewski found himself in the lead at the end of the race at Bristol with under ten laps to go.

On a green/white/checkered NASCAR Overtime restart at Bristol, he was unable to maintain control of his car and found himself in the wall and finished second to last as Derek Allen drove around the accident with Eric Wolfe quick on his tail.

Gancewski has found himself in the position to win multiple times this year but still cannot secure that W. With two races left this year Patrick Gancewski has the ability to get close to Eric Wolfe, but unless he wins we don’t know if he has what it takes to overtake the dominate post season Wolfe has had.

Our third place driver is the #15 Toyota of Josh Dise (driven currently by Casey Freeman). Dise finished the season strong with 3 wins and secured himself a solid playoff position. When news broke of Dise entering basic training at the beginning of fall, he announced that Casey Freeman (formerly the #3 car) would be taking his seat for the playoffs.

Freeman has shown up in the playoffs and has definitely ruffled feathers and made himself known. Casey has four stage wins since entering the league and two of those cam in back to back stages at Bristol on October 15th. Freeman is only twelve points behind second place going into Iowa and is looking to secure a better spot for the returning Josh Dise.

Rounding our our final four is Derek Allen. Allen, coming off of a dominate run at Bristol has been absolutely lights out since the all-star break. Now with two wins on the season (Indianapolis and Bristol), he has inched out the points leader Eric Wolfe by extremely close margins in both.

Allen is 38 points behind Freeman in third place and just 50 points behind Ganczewski in second. With two races left in the season, Derek Allen is our underdog pick to jump up to third and maybe even second if he can keep his momentum rolling until the end of the season.
