This week at Homestead-Miami, Andrew “Bruiser” Salzwimmer was able to overcome a 3 lap deficit from an early race incident to win his first race this season. Salzwimmer, joins Patrick Ganczewski and Kyle Looney as the three drivers to win their first races of the season in the playoffs.

While Salzwimmer crossed the line for the victory, Eric Wolfe was already on the backstretch celebrating his 2021 Jumpboost Racing League Championship in a very smoky fashion. Wolfe could be heard congratulating Bruiser over his radio as he celebrated. When talking with Eric Wolfe after the race he said, “After I got bumped up the track with 2 to go, I wasn’t going to risk the car or the race for anyone else. We were excited to be here and wanted to win it but seeing him (Bruiser) win, put a bigger smile on my face than crossing that line in P1.. Good for Bruiser and his team. They worked all season for that moment and I am so excited they got to get it the last night of the year.”

This win for Salzwimmer and the 28 team marks our tenth different driver this year to take home a checkered flag.

We will be announcing awards for this season NEXT Friday, November 5th, 2021 at 815pm/est in a special stream live on Twitch.
