Daytona Speedweek is halfway over with the Xfinity race wrapping up in a wild wrecking finish between first and second place! Bob Williams and the #06 Chevy were able to sneak by the #001 of David Moolman at the beginning of the tri-oval at Daytona for the win.

This race had it’s fair share of lead changes with 6 drivers totaling a combined 14 lead changes. We also saw a higher than normal amount of cautions with the total hitting 6 for 18 laps. The “big one” came on lap 43 when the #37 of Barney Sigman clipped the wall on the outside of two lanes of traffic and was sent down into first (#51 Eric Wolfe) and third (#21 Ian Ogden) which then set off a chain of events collecting 7 cars total in the accident.

The tensions were high leaving the track as a few of the racers were heavily displeased with their competitors. Things are going to be interesting next week when the drivers compete at the Auto Club Speedway in California.
