The ARCA Series headed to Phoenix, Arizona to tackle the 1-mile speedway. Race winner, Ian Ogden led 59 laps of the 65 laps with only two other drivers leading 2 (Blake Thomas) and 4 (Bob Williams) respectively.

Blake Thomas ran up front most of the race but found himself in trouble coming out of turn two heading to the checkered flag. Thomas, was able to recover the skid towards the pit wall and finish a respectable fourth place.

Points leader, Eric Wolfe took advantage of the Blake Thomas mishap and finished in second place with Barney Sigman right on his inside. This finish was enough to keep Wolfe in the running for the ARCA Points Championship, but did drop him back to second place.

The ARCA cars head to Talladega next week to do some Super Speedway racing.
