The March 1st, 2022 Truck Race was an absolute slip and slide at the line that saw 6 total cautions for 20 total laps. From the green flag drop we saw the #51 of Eric Wolfe nearly get sideways entering the tri-oval heading to the start.

Our first caution was to follow shortly after that crossing the line when Domenic Previte and the #39 Chevy made contact with #42 of David Corbett who was running the inside line.
Coming to the green flag on our restart, the leader Ian Ogden in the #21 Toyota looked to have spun his tires and found himself in the wall also collecting the #06 of Bob Williams and the #39 of Domenic Previte. Ogden could be heard on the radio saying the inside of the tri-oval was overly slick and that the accident was absolutely “on him”.

Lap 31 we saw another accident on a restart proving the old adage “Cautions breed cautions” to be true. We saw the second place car of David Corbett in the #42 Chevy spin his tires and slide up into the wall collecting the #88 of Brandon Ward, #00 of Blake Thomas and the #39 of Domenic Previte. Barney Sigman, Ian Ogden and Todd Danbury were able to avoid the incident by passing through the grass exiting the tri-oval.

The finish was one of excitement as Brandon Van Buytene and Domenic Previte battled coming out of turn 4 and into the tri-oval. As Van Buytene attempted to block the low line, Previte found himself in the grass but still was able to slide across the line in second place.
