Harley Barletta and Domenic Previte led the field to the green flag and the field would go on to be incident free through the first 6 laps. This would begin the first of six cautions this stage.

The first caution came out on Lap 6 when the #01 of Mychael Miller spun out of turn four into the inside wall. The field would stack back up for a restart that ended up bringing out our second caution of the race.

On the restart, Joshua Thornton in the Number 29 Chevrolet would start on the inside as the field came to take the restart. Thornton would end up jumping ahead of the leader on the restart in anticipation of Barletta. Thornton let out of the throttle to not be penalized but ended up with contact from Justin Potts that spun him towards the inside wall bringing out our second caution in the first ten laps.

Harley Barletta would go on to lead all 25 laps of the first stage. During the stage break, the leaders would come down to pit while Josh Previte would stay out and take over the lead from Barletta. Barletta went on to lose 2 spots on pit lane, placing him in 8th place on the track to start stage two.

Another caution would come out on Lap 38 as there was contact between Domenic Previte and Jay Monnin entering turn four. This contact came as Previte took the lower almost apron line into turn four and Monnin also moved low making contact with Previte’s bumper. This caused the Number 67 Chevrolet to spin out with no damage or contact with the inside wall.

Previte and Potts would battle all stage long with Potts leading 12 laps, Previte leading 13 and taking the stage ending flag on lap 50.

Not long after taking the green flag to start the final stage, Josh Previte would find himself being spun out of turn four from contact with Paul Junior in the Number 35 Chevrolet. This would cause damage to Eric Wolfe’s #2 Toyota, Garrett Hummel’s #19 Chevrolet and Mychael Miller’s #01 Chevrolet.

The final stage would finish with Justin Potts leading a majority of the final run beating out Josh Previte by just 0.495 seconds. This would be our second to final race of the year and no shortage of drama heading into our season finale at Richmond.
